Frank & his Chocolate Lab / Springer Spaniel Cross Maggie
Sue Higgin’s off-leash dog park was really poppin’ today with everybody and their dog out to make the most of the good weather before the mercury plunges in a day or so.
Someone with a young pup watched me cueing Maggie into various poses for the camera and was gushing over how well trained she is.
I had to give credit where credit is due and luckily had one remaining Compassionate K9 Academy business card to pass along.
Hopefully there will be one more happy well-adjusted pooch in the park soon.

Thank you Eva. We had an absolute blast. Love seeing how confident our baby girl is now. We did a sniff walk with Gia, just across the street from our place, out on the big field.
We would run way ahead and call her name and she would run to us and then sit when she reached us. Obviously waiting for her reward. She is getting really good with always looking back to make sure we are still right behind her.

Our dog was very shy and anxious. We wouldn’t know what to expect with her anxiety when taking her for walks and dog parks were very stressful.
After 6 weeks of Eva’s force-free training she has helped build our confidence, our dog’s confidence, and helped us better understand the language of dogs. Eva is very patient and she obviously cares very much for the dogs she trains.

Eva has a way with dogs and they respond to her. I used to watch her walking with her own dog Merlin, and often with other people’s dogs….all of them off leash and they never strayed very far away from her.
That’s what I wanted in our new pup. George and I did a 6 week course with Eva. George absolutely loved her. She gave us all the information on the day’s lesson via email so that we could continue working on what we learned. George and I learned a lot. I now have a good boy!
